Florianopolis - Logwood

Located to the south of the Island of Santa Catarina, Logwood is a beach of great extension.
Of sea opened in cold and crystalline waters, it is continuation of the beach of the Joaquina. Its sea possesss great waves and is sufficiently dangerous, mainly for presenting holes next to the side and in some points to present current forts.

It possesss a great sand band. Throughout the beach it has some dunes and vegetation tripping.

In front of the beach it is the Island of the Logwood, ecological reserve with native vegetation. The access the Island if gives for the beach of the Scaffolding.

For return of the years of 1930, the writer and French aviator Saint-Exupéry made scale in the place. The place was the first field of landing of the Island.

The beach possesss good infrastructure, with inns, residential restaurants, hotels, bars, supermarkets and condominiums.
